B's school has a program with the pacific symphony where one of the musicians comes to the school every few months to perform for the kids and teach them about that year's composer. This year they learned about Aaron Copland(wrote Mag 7 score!). They also host a free concert for the school families featuring a quintet of symphony musicians. This took place last night and was really enjoyable minus the little kids who wouldn't stay seated and weren't controlled by their parents. Seriously if your kid is too young to sit and listen then don't bring them because you are ruining everyone elses time.
