I walk diagonally through this Plaza. Occasionally they have little festivals and/or live music here. Billy & I went to Taste of Albuquerque here a couple weeks ago and had fun spending all of our meal-tickets on beers.

First design assignment for rendering class

My Walk to Work, Part I

To motivate myself to continue walking to work even as the mornings get cool, to show y'all where I live, and to stimulate some posting on this blog, I have decided to start what I think will be an 8 part series of the sights on my walk to work.

This is Albuquerque High, an old high-school converted to apartments located across the street from where I live.

Although only two people seem to read this blog I wanted to tell you all I'm going back to school. I got into FIDM's jewelry design program so I start back in Oct. This is the cuff I made as my entrance project.

More Mexico

Went to the Aztec pyramids and and had dinner at el bodega which had amazing live musica de cuba.

First Day in Mexico City

My sister and I are in Mexico City to celebrate our birthdays. We arrives today and my uncle took us on a walk around his neighborhood. There were gorgeous old buildings all around. Giant compounds that took up whole blocks. One of them is an art school my uncle attends. Ut was beautiful and awesome. Tomorrow we go to the pyramids!

Spent the afternoon with my new nephew Lewis.

So busy at work today, but when I finally got home at 9pm, I had an unexpected package from my dad waiting for me. He saw this somewhere and thought of me, or rather, us.

B is Back

B just got back from 10 days in Texas so we celebrate with chicken fingers and a walk to the grocery store.

MXPX 20th Anniversary Show

Danny and I went to MXPX show last night. I wa super stoked cuz they were one if my favorite bands in jr high and I had a huge crush on the lead singer, Mike Herrera. Let me say the crush is still going strong. Time has been good to him.

Peter's Canyon hike

I took my parents to hike around Peter's Canyon on Memorial Day. I can't believe I haven't made more use of this place! The hills are killer.
