My rings are finally nearing completion. I just have to file down the bumps and rough spots and buff them and they'll be ready to wear. So far this has been my favorite class project. It was super intense but I really like the final outcome.

Spring break!!!!

I'm living life vicariously through JP...and enjoying a spring break too! We are down in San Clemente at Ann's beach house for the week :) woohoo! This is a much needed break.

Casino night

Went to casino night for junior league last night, it's this women's group that does charity stuff and I'm trying to join this summer. This is me and Sarah at the end of the night (pre McDonalds late night run!)

The event had this really cool transportation service company called Über its this app on your phone where you just open it, it uses GPS to locate you and sends its nearest town car too get you. It takes like 5 min and is only like 5 bucks more than cabs!

Now I'm watching tv w Sarah and its raining out. Lovely.

Studying at the libs....

I have a big quiz tomorrow for my hardest class, so I've been at the library all day trying to prepare for it.  Because the term is wrapping up, I also have a bunch of papers and bullshit to take care of this month..... so you might be seeing lots more pictures of me at the library from now on.

This is the library at my school, it's the West LA campus by the Howard Hughes center, kinda near LAX.  I don't know what time they close but I'm getting antsy so I think I'm gonna bust a move outta here.  There is a somewhat cute boy sitting across from me, and I think he saw me taking my stealth picture of myself.... my computer made this loud "flash" noise / beep when it took the pic - embarrassing much!!!  like, wow i am that cool. i take pictures of myself in the library!  LOL

Running shitheads

Haha so some marathon is going on past our place on San vicente and it totally woke me up this morning. I heard all this cheering and music and I jumped out of bed thinking it was a St Pattys day parade or something, and it was just a bunch of shitheads running a marathon. So disappointing, I miss the Midwest today. Chi and south bend always had the best pattys day parades in the street but alas not here. Oh well at least it's a beautiful day here! <3

Snow and Trumpets

It dropped 35 degrees in one day and then snowed at night. Damn you, Beijing winter.

An Albuquerque Fashion Plate Models Appropriate Court Attire

School Concert

B's school has a program with the pacific symphony where one of the musicians comes to the school every few months to perform for the kids and teach them about that year's composer. This year they learned about Aaron Copland(wrote Mag 7 score!). They also host a free concert for the school families featuring a quintet of symphony musicians. This took place last night and was really enjoyable minus the little kids who wouldn't stay seated and weren't controlled by their parents. Seriously if your kid is too young to sit and listen then don't bring them because you are ruining everyone elses time.

Serenity now

Waiting in Ellen's (my therapist) backyard. Very peaceful huh? Ps I'm covering my chin so that you can't see my giant zit that's formed. Yuck!

Stick em up

This was the most exciting part about yesterday for me ..... My big adventure outside of studying was heading across the street to the gas station, where I got this radical lighter. Also bought some smokes and ginger ale.

The Blind Slut did It!

Laur and Sarah hosted the Murder Mystery last night. Basically, we all turned out to be homicidal maniacs bent on revenge but only one of us got to commit the crime.
