Walk around Balboa Island

I met Katie after work today for a walk around Balboa Island. It was a chilly day, but nice to get out and actually move my legs after a day of sitting at my computer.

I have a rule that my desk has to be cleared off and organized before I leave for the day. Since I came back from vacation, I have been pulling some late nights to make that happen.

I just had to post this, because I'm excited to be 100% finished with my pendant. My dad has already told me he wants to buy it. I just have to wait until May to start hocking my wares because I have to keep all my work for an end of semester review.

I have so many hilarious photos of Billy - I wish I could post them all. SUCH a fun trip. We should all rent a house along the parade route and go together one year.

Last day in chi

Did a swanky spa day w Han on Monday at the four seasons then lunch at the Ritz. It was divine honestly.

Then we went to the bean in Millenium Park and watched the skaters. I was so sad we didn't have time to go ourselves but I'm not v good or even stable on skates so maybe for the best?

I do have some other photos from my trip that I am excited to post as more official PDJs, but until they are uploaded I will leave you with this New Orleans weekly paper that Billy and I reviewed in the airplane yesterday.

Final day of freedom

Danny's Show

 
Danny played a show last night in Long Beach. We had lots of fun, but I felt like an old lady as I was yawning at midnight. This is the creepy/funny bathroom. There were also at least 6 Elvis paintings on the wall.

Its Bells first day back to normal life after the flu. I am hoping there are no surprise stomach issues lingering.

Day 2

here is one of the floats from one of the parades tonight. apropos, because billy and I spotted some gators on a swamp tour earlier today.

This picture isn't from today, but wanted to post anyway. This is the letter I wrote so Danny could get his re-entry visa into China. His visa expired so he went to leave country and renew, and needed a letter of invitation/welcome from resident. So I hand-wrote this letter on my steno pad, took picture of it, then emailed to Danny. Too lazy to go print it out on campus. Apparently he and his brother just laughed at it, and then typed one out and forged my signature. Good news is that Danny was able to get new visa. Hurray!
